I'm the bad guy now, apparently, for asking my father to make sure his whooping cough vaccine is up to date before he snuggles up to my son who is due soon.

Oof, my son is due in August and I just had to have the talk about getting the vaccine with my family and thank god I didn't get this much pushback. The doctor literally tells you anyone in contact with the baby should get the vaccine, maybe you can frame it as the doctor making you if you don't want to have the drama from your dad?

New parent here to premie triplets. Do not under any circumstances relent to this. Babies are so fragile to things like this. You've made all the right choices and done all the right things here by checking and giving them the options. Anything than transpires from this is not your fault and you should not feel bad.
