Classic sign of a bombmaker is an inability to count to ten on their fingers. Even if they are really good, they probably weren't always.

I served in Germany & one of the soldiers cut his fingers off on one hand fucking around with an axe.
Within 3 days he had received 5 Rubiks Cubes as thoughtful gifts from his friends.
