Nobody raised their hand on career day in 4th grade and said I wNt to be a homeless drug addict when I grow up. ( although this guys story does not mention drugs)
Unfortunately, folks fall through the cracks or just get hit with the avalanche of life and end up in desperate straights.
It is good to see someone pulling themselves back up. Sometimes it just takes a little help.
We need more programs to assist folks to transition from homelessness to homed. Work training, counseling and social services are key for these people to get back on track
