What the fuck?! Pepper spray is known to hurt like hell, he fucking sprayed it in his eyes. That young guy was JUST STANDING WITH HIS HANDS UP. Why people like that are cops?!

If anyone knows someone going to the protests and they get exposed to mace/OC/pepper spray, tell them to wash their exposed skin and hair first and separate from their body. That shit can and will reactivate. Baby shampoo or dish soap are both good options. They do not want it running down their bodies. If you’re helping anyone who took a direct hit like this guy, help them walk and tell them to keep trying to open their eyes. Try to not let them rub their face although I know that’s a hard instinct to overcome. Just keep them moving away from the contaminated area. Either toss the clothes or wash them separate (I’m not actually sure if it can survive a wash cycle but I remember tossing my shirt out). Stay safe, keep demanding change, and keep documenting the brutalities.
