Yeah but the stock market is up!! 25 billionaires made almost 500 billion dollars while 40 million people lost jobs and then Trump* bragged about the stock market being up.
We were promised quite a few things. A replacement for Obamacare that was far cheaper and would cover everyone.
That the "swamp" would be drained of crony capitalists using the system to enrich themselves.
That the world would respect us, and we'd "get tough" with dictators.
That Hillary Clinton would be "locked up" for all her "crimes."
That Trump would just be too darned busy being President to golf.
The list of things promised was long. And if you believed those promises that came from a man who broke his vows to three wives in a row, you got suckered.
