Twitter has hidden a tweet by President Donald Trump from his profile, saying it violates rules about glorifying violence.

It says that "Twitter has determined that it may be in the public's interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.".

This is the latest twist in an escalating row between Twitter and the White House.

But the social network has never used it on Mr Trump - nor deleted any of his tweets before.

For years Twitter resisted calls to treat Donald Trump like any other user and make him follow its rules.

Paramount Pictures and Sega Sammy confirmed on Thursday that they have commenced development on a sequel to the live-action family comedy.

The sequel would reteam the filmmakers, with Jeff Fowler directing, and Pat Casey and Josh Miller writing the script.

The movie is still in the development stage so decisions have not been made yet regarding casting or a production start date. »

New Zealand's COVID-19 eradication efforts have been so successful, there is now just one active case in the whole country.

Australia, by comparison, has 467 active cases although none in the ACT or NT.
