This is fucking disgusting. America is significantly more multi-cultural than the meme implies. The USA terrorizes citizens all over the world with the military, not just internally with law enforcement.
That exact train line is partially privately owned (rail lines and land maintained by Japan, the stations and station employees would be owned by Mitsubishi or Sony) and Japan doesn’t worry about NIMBYS because zoning has been decided federally ever since they got two nukes dropped on them.
