My son was 2 or 3 and we had a his birthday party in the back yard. My wife made a big Mickey Mouse Pinata. The kids managed to break just a small hole in it and the candy poured out. My son had no issue with smacking Mickey with a baseball bat.
But when cleanup time came and we went to throw it away a friend was putting it in the trash can and just obliterating it with a bat to make it fit
I will forever remember the screams a crying from my son "Mickeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"

Same vibe as parents vacuuming your room right after you played with LEGOs.

My kids' toys always went for a ride in the "whirly whirly waterslide". They loved it
