Systemic brutality of police toward black people and mass incarceration would bleed into that green area up until today.
Edit: do racists just constantly patrol this sub, foaming at the mouth, waiting for some topic to come up that gives them the opportunity to “debate” why black people deserve to be executed and disenfranchised by the state?
Shiiiiiiiiit. I assume Brown v Board is why 1954 is listed, but the legislation that had real teeth was the Civil Rights Act of 1964 a full ten years later.
