Serious question. What is the point in having guns if you're not allowed to defend yourself if somebody storms into your house? If the police did not announce themselves what are they expecting an armed man to do if they storm into a house? It all sounds like a massive recipe for disaster.

Shit, as a Paramedic if I’d treated the wrong patient and even if that patient was 100% fine afterward, I’d be fired, lose my license to practice, possibly be held criminally and sued by the patient’s family. No. Questions.

Would be nice if LEOs had that kind of standard.
