I've watched hundreds of people jump through hoops to defend the McMichaels' right to self-defense and their right to citizens' arrests. I have seen exactly none of those people suggest that Ahmaud Arbery has a right to self-defense when he has a shotgun pointed at him, in fact, I've seen plenty of people blame him for lunging at the younger man. Not a one mentioning that Travis McMichael should have gotten out of the car without his shotgun drawn, even though Gregory McMichael did not draw his handgun until after the scuffle began. I cannot express with words how disgusting this situation is.

CLEARLY he was the one in the wrong for being unarmed in a situation with guns pointed at him and they feared for their lives... holding their guns while he's unarmed. /s

The one I really have never understood with Trump voters, though, is that it is very well known that Trump has a history of not paying his contractors who worked on his apartment buildings and Trump towers. He doesn't pay people that earned their wages fair and square, and Republicans (who I can't imagine would be too happy if that happened to them) look at that and say "Yep, this is exactly what I want! A ruthless businessman who will con me out of every penny he can, even when I did so much hard work!" It's so difficult to understand.

After watching the gut wrenching video, it’s completely obvious at what their intentions were. Shooting an innocent unarmed man, which seems like the only motivation was because of his race. I can’t believe this response was so controversial and it’s just another wake up call that things need to change

What was his past. Nothing he did was seen by the killers nor would it have been grounds to kill him.
