Something odd here methinks.

There have been two transits of Venus since the advent of colour photography, namely 2004 and 2012.

Both were visible from the Caribbean, the first at dawn and the second at sunset.

From what I can see, at the latitude of the Caribbean, the dawn one traversed the bottom of the sun's disc. The 2012 one, it traversed the top. (Being careful not to get confused with telescope projections turning the image upside down!).

Thus I think this must be in 2012 at sunset, not dawn?
