In the video you can see him charge the preson trying to kidnap him at gun point and you can bet your ass they're using that as some sort of "self defense" excuse. If he had somehow over powered his attacker and shot him instead you know he'd be rotting in jail for the rest of his life and no one would even be talking about this.
