Here in Poland we have Insurers fund. They will pay you for damage and then chase the guy with no insurance for their refund. Don't you have anything similar in US? Anyways that sucks :(

Your own insurance will cover it (if you have collision coverage) and they will sue the uninsured guy. No problem for you except for the deductable.
