Forgive yourself.

Best advice I've ever been given.

I took 7 years to finish a 3 year uni degree because of many reasons, ended up failing multiple courses, losing motivation, got suspended from uni and almost kicked out twice due to my failing grades. I took a year break, worked on myself, got some experience and came back really strong. My grades went from fails to top of the class.

My GPA never really recovered from the years of failing but I put myself out there, took on opportunities others told me not to because it wasn't "worth it". This year I was accepted into a company I would have never dreamed of getting into 5 years ago. The success rate per applicant is only 2.5% and I did it, I got it. To others, I would say I just got lucky but deep down I am extremely proud of myself and where I am now.
