My whole neighborhood was built at the same time by a developer, so I've run into some interesting issues with them cutting corners or just not doing things right.

I redid my roof last year, the top 8 feet just didn't have tar paper under it, so the plywood had all delaminated and barely held my weight. They also hadn't put aluminum edging along the sides, so all the fascia had rotted.

One of our customers was doing maintenance in a building and discovered all of the sprinkler heads(the kind that hang from ceilings that turn on when there is a fire) were just glued into the ceiling and were not connected to water. If there was a fire, the whole place would have burned to the ground.
