Our neighbors bought a trailer for $8k so the husband, who is a dialysis nurse can stay in it during all of this. They have a young baby and a toddler so I can imagine he enjoys the sleep and privacy

If you know someone doing something like this, have them check this out a Facebook group called RVs4MDs.

I initially included the link, but it caused my comment to be removed.

Essentially, they match owners of RVs with medical staff or first responders to give them better accommodations. A friend of my wife's started this program, and we used it to connect with a first responder who was having to sleep in a tent to self-isolate from his immuno-compromised child.

It's free for all parties, with the singular goal of helping those who are doing so much to help all of us.

EDIT:

u/321blastoffff pointed out the following, if you have a hard time getting matched with an RV:

For EMTs and Paramedics: active members in the NAEMT ($40/yr) can stay at hilton hotels for free until May 31. Book through the NAEMT member portal. https://www.naemt.org/initiatives/covid-19/naemt-hilton
