Nintendo constantly aims to improve the functionality of its systems and services in order to provide the easiest, most user-friendly experience possible. As a part of these efforts, we are making Nintendo Switch system updates available for download via the Internet.

Ver. 10.0.2 (Distributed April 29, 2020)

In most situations, the Nintendo Switch will automatically download the most recent system update while it is connected online. You can and from the System Settings menu if necessary.

My brand new pro controller drifted after the previous update, but I calibrated it, which fixed it.

I installed today’s update, and it started drifting again, this time in the other direction. I then restored the controller to its factory settings, desynced and resynced and it appears to be ok for now.

Been an annoying experience so far as a new switch owner. Hopefully it’s all good now.

Considering that my controller was NOT drifting during the current set of updates... I hope that this update doesn't make them drift lol

Finally get to tell people it was the software causing the pro controller drifting, kept being told it's not a software problem but poor pro controller quality.
