So turns out this story is a bit shady. The donation was made, yes, but Amir Khan might not have been the one to do it. We don't know it yet cause he didn't confirm or deny it. But the original source from Tik Tok doesn't mention who did this, but in Amir Khan's fan page on IG just magically added his picture next to it and told the fans that he did this. In reality it's just an anonymous donation, it could very well be Amir Khan, it could very well not be him. Either way, the money is where it needs to be :)
My uncle from Afghanistan called me the other day with a similar story. An influential businessman went to the city center and was looking for workers. There were about 20 people there at the time. He announced that he would take as many workers as possible. However, he would only pay them “100 afghani” ($1 USD)..only six men agreed to take the job. They hopped in the truck and were ready to work. The man took them to his house where he fed them and allowed them to rest.... one of the workers asked when they would get to work? The man replied “I wanted to help the least fortunate and the fact that you came here for only 100 afghanis shows me that. There is no work but I want to give you each 20,000 afghanis” (about 200 USD). The men were then returned home with the money !
