Hand out those resumes in person with a firm handshake. No one can resist that.

I lost my job and I let my landlord know ASAP because i couldn’t make rent this month. I can’t get back into the country because I’m not a citizen. So I’m paying rent for an apartment I can’t even live in.

I have no idea what to do. My landlord won’t let me move out because my things are inside. Apparently the borders will be closed until December so I’m stuck in another country at the moment with no job and no apartment.

I can’t afford to pay rent on a new apartment where I am now because I have to pay rent on an empty apartment in a country I can’t enter.

My landlord is hassling me to pay rent, but I can’t because I am literally unemployed and homeless on the other side of the planet.

Ahh such a mess.

My landlord offered to let me pay my April rent in two installments, one on the first and another on the 15th. With a $50 "admin fee" on both payments. So basically he offered to let me raise my rent by $100. What a gem.
