Weighs 1.5lbs about a foot long, head is 4 inches wide, with hammer faces being about 1.5' X 0.5'. Both faces sit at 45 degrees to the shaft. It's from a construction department and no one's knows what type of hammer it is, there have been a few guesses, but that's it, they're just guesses!

I've googled angled hammer and roofers hammer with no success. That was one of the guesses, that it was for in the eaves of a roof.

Cheers, Stay safe everyone!

Almost looks like a blacksmith hammer.

Blacksmith hammers have different style of peens depending on the task you want to accomplish. There are straight peen (if you held the hammer by the handle the peen would be paralell to the ground), cross peen (perpendicular to the ground) and diagonal peen (the one you have taken an image of).
