So... Many... Conference Calls.

Though my boss was a big anti-work-from-home guy. He's admitted he was wrong about it.

The first week was a bit rough as people figured out the tools we had available and got home workspaces set up. Since then productivity has gone up pretty significantly and it's had the side effect of forcing everyone to actually use the ticketing system like they've been harping on for months instead of just popping by my desk to ask for stuff.

My wife loves working from home and she is extremely productive; not getting casually interrupted by people is a big part of it. Now if they have a question, they have to draft an email, which forces them to be more concise and focused.
