I'd argue that the people who are alone need the streaming services more than families. Families could have some old fashioned card/board game nights. And I'm fairly confident that Disney+ wasn't made just for kids. Gosh, the Marvel movies are on there and they're PG-13. Technically speaking, those movies are meant for teens and adults. Not that kids can't watch them but the target audience certainly isn't little children.
It is especially dumb considering that single people that live alone really don't have much to do these days, this person has a big family to spend their time with but they would rather spend their time being annoyed that other people don't spend two months staring into a wall.
This lady sounds like that one mom who got mad about single and childless people going to Disney World because someone ahead of them in line got the last pretzel I think it was resulting in her kid throwing a tantrum. The mom in this post just sounds like someone wanting to use streaming services so she doesn't have to actually do things with her kids
