On Thur sday— and I didn’t think this was possible— President Trump handed the mic to someone who is actually dumber and less qualified than the president, his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

To date, Jared Kushner is basically following in Trump’s footsteps; his father made money in real estate and the young Kushner is eating off the fat of the land.

Kushner took the podium during Trump’s press conference and proceeded to berate governors for needing supplies during a pandemic, claiming that New York doesn’t need 30,000 ventilators.

Kushner has succeeded at exactly three things in his life.

“Behind the scenes, Kushner takes charge of coronavirus response,” said a Politico headline on Wednesday.

There are, however, significant humanitarian implications of ceasing respirator supplies to healthcare workers in Canada and Latin America, where we are a critical supplier of respirators.”. »

Yesterday, the Administration formally invoked the Defense Production Act (DPA) to require 3M to prioritize orders from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for our N95 respirators.

For example, earlier this week, we secured approval from China to export to the U.S. 10 million N95 respirators manufactured by 3M in China.

We also continue to act on reports of price gouging and unauthorized reselling related to 3M respirators. »

When we refer to aquafaba (as we often do in our cookbook on vegan cooking, Vegan for Everybody), we’re talking about the liquid in a can of chickpeas.

Aquafaba is therefore able to trap air, giving items structure at the same time it delivers a fluffy crumb and lift.
