Sir Philip Green provoked outrage today as he demanded emergency taxpayer help to pay the wages of 14,500 workers he has furloughed during the coronavirus lockdown.

Twitter users today claimed Sir Philip should contribute some of his own money to paying his staff during the coronavirus outbreak.

Nonetheless, Sir Philip's bid for taxpayer help sparked anger on social media today, with one Twitter user writing: 'There are brass necks and then there's Philip Green...'.

Sir Philip has three yachts, including the Lionheart (pictured) which is thought to cost around £122m.

Georgia beaches reopened as of Friday night

Some of the state’s most popular beaches will be allowed to reopen Friday night due to Gov. Brian Kemp’s statewide order superseding that of some city-level shelter-in-place mandates.

The beaches had the option to reopen at the start of the stay-at-home order’s execution at 6 p.m. Friday.

“The Georgia State Patrol and Department of Natural Resources are increasing patrols on the beaches, parking lots, and surrounding areas. »

Goats prefer happy people

Goats can differentiate between human facial expressions and prefer to interact with happy people, according to a new study led by scientists at Queen Mary University of London.

However, to date, there was no evidence that animals such as goats were capable of reading human facial expressions.
