To be fair, the bailout package is a loan which gets repaid vs healthcare spending being an annual government expense. We also don’t make trillion dollar loans every year, but healthcare expense recurs every year. Kind of an apples and oranges comparison. Not saying that we shouldn’t be funding and changing healthcare, but this is just a poor comparison.
