Apparently he's allergic to almost everything on the allergy skin test. Some of it was so swollen the doctor could barely tell which was which.

Did he he react to saline? This happened to me but i also reacted to saline. Turns out my skin is just super sensitive and needed an additional blood test to learn what i was actually allergic to.

I went through the same thing. Reacted to 54 out of 60 allergens. I basically have to mow my lawn in a hazmat suit to prevent me from breaking out in hives.

Several edits:

1) I don't own an actual hazmat suit. I cover all exposed skin with clothing and wear a mask and goggles. I limit my work time to 30 minutes and shower immediately after.

2) I rent my home. It is a condition of my lease that we maintain the lawn as dictated by the landlord. I cannot afford a lawn service. A neighbor sometimes does it for me but it's not always possible. I intend to move to the desert soon.

3) While the true reason for the prevalence of allergies is still unknown, one hypothesis is that allergies are more common in developed countries because exposure to relatively small range of microorganisms as children doesn't allow for development of appropriate immune responses. "Although it’s been suggested that worm infections could prevent against different allergies, there has been little concrete evidence of the potential molecular mechanisms that might mediate any such relationship.” https://www.immunology.org/news/molecular-mechanism-allergies-discovered
