Was in this exact situation in high school
Called dad, 30 year master mechanic, former racecar driver, and redneck extraordinaire on how to fix it
"if you can't figure it out then you gotta pay the idiot tax and call the tow truck"
And that is the day I learned the value of the idiot tax
