This is Texas Roadhouse CEO Kent Taylor. As a result of the coronavirus epidemic and subsequent economic turmoil, he is giving up his base salary and bonus to pay ‘frontline’ employees. Corporate America needs to act more like Kent Taylor.
My daughter works there and this comes out to about $150 a week per employee. Which is $150 more than she was getting. And it’s more than any other restaurant is doing. This was an amazing show of concern on his part!!
