The polar bear is found in the Arctic Circle. A boar (adult male) weighs around 350ā€“700 kg (772ā€“1,543 lb) while a sow (adult female) is about half that size. Polar bears are the largest land carnivores currently in existence, rivaled only by the Kodiak bear. The skin under their fur is black. Polar bears can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph) on land and 10 km/h (6 mph) in water.

I'm assuming that is at a zoo and taken with a telephoto lens. Could you imagine coming across that in the wild? I'm thinking you'd be dinner.
