At one of my my old workplaces someone lost an expensive tool. We searched everywhere for it with no luck. Then someone had the idea to check the security cam. We found a shot of the guy walking along with the tool in his hand. Then he gets a phonecall and while he's talking on his phone he puts the tool in the pot-plant he's standing next to, keeps talking, and then walks off. Mystery solved.

Perfect camouflage. They really should make then in neon colours so you find them. So many hours of my life wasted just tocfind the remote.
