Would it be possible for truckers to call the restaurant, explain the situation, place their order/have it walked out? Genuine question.

Edit: Given our current situation I can’t imagine truck drivers, emergency responders, or anyone else in a vehicle unable to use the drive-thru (or sans vehicle entirely) being turned away, when there’s literally no other way for them to get their meal. I also want to take a minute to thank all those workers who make it possible. It’s a crazy moment in history for all of us, and especially those whose jobs have become that much more important so the rest of us can maintain some semblance of normalcy.

I'm from germany and just yesterday I walked through a McDonalds DriveThru to get my food. The employees do even encourage you to do that since they can't let you enter past 6.

This just happened to me last night except it was a family of four homeless people, including teenage children. Taco Bell wouldn't let them walk through and they looked exasperated, like they had tried other places as well. It only took a couple minutes of my time and they were so grateful. It really made me emotional to think of how this is affecting parts of the population that I normally don't encounter or consider.
