Friends have set up an online fundraiser to help her make ends meet while she is undergoing treatment.

Amanda Smith was working on Wednesday when she was trapped under a piece of equipment.

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — A movie production assistant is paralyzed following a work-place accident on the set of Batwoman in Vancouver.

According to a GoFundMe page, Amanda Smith was working when she got trapped by a piece of equipment on Wednesday.

“While doing her job as a production assistant, the bucket of a lift lowered onto her head and she was trapped beneath it.

Friends who set up the page say the money is meant to help Smith make ends meet while she is unable to work.

“We do not want her to have to worry about finances as she goes through these uncertain times,” the page continues. »

Auburn resident Mark David Glenn, 51, was charged with third-degree child rape, second-degree sexual misconduct with a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes on Jan. 8 in King County Superior Court.

Glenn surrendered only his concealed pistol license and swore under penalty of perjury that he had no additional firearms.

Glenn’s credentials as a licensed practical nurse expired on Nov. 9, 2019, according to the Washington State Department of Health. »
