Literally happened to my twin sister. My mom waited so long that it ruptured and she almost died. Four years later, I had the same symptoms. Thankfully, she didn't wait for mine to rupture. I think that she probably thought that it would look bad if she had a second kid almost die from a ruptured appendix, being that she was a registered nurse and all that.
My mother thought I was burping for attention/laughs until I got sent to the ER for an ulcer. Fuck these kinds of parents. I relished the look on her face when the doctor told her there was actually something wrong with me
I woke up one morning with a slight temperature and exhausted. I had a few symptoms like bruising and bleeding Noses and persistent cold for weeks. My mum told me to stop faking it. My mum knew all the symptoms and i had been ill for 4 months then and I was almost entirely bed bound.
