In his speech he was talking about how tax handouts were ruining this country and welfare recipients etc. while the crowd cheered and gave him the Yes Sir! Right up until he asked if the crowd could tell him who received the most welfare in the U.S. People shouted out all sorts of things; single mothers, uneducated folks, inner city people and so on. He clicked to a slide on his PowerPoint and announced "American Farmers."
He said you've never seen a crowd turn on a man so fast. He wound up being forced to cut his speech short and was escorted out a side door to his truck. He hasn't been invited back since.
