I wanted to know my blood type. It was not on Birth Certificate, and my mom didn't know, my doctor didn't know. They said it was expensive to test. I donated blood. They told me for free and I got crackers
EDIT: Seriously, this is what my morning is going to be, huh? No, don't do this. There is no blood test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes Covid19. You can't give blood if you're running a fever, the main symptom of the virus. You will get the people at the donation center sick. The virus can't be passed through blood transfusions so there's no reason to test donated blood for it even if we could. There's all sorts of reasons why this idea is a big fucking NO.
E: I just went and looked at this person’s twitter, they deleted this tweet because they realized how incorrect it is. Reddit needs to do the same with this post.
