Coming from a father who has an amazing son who does not have a lot of friends, I thank you. He really loves his online family. On another note, he is an exceptional gamer as well and I've heard him reach out to those who aren't as good, just like this post. Thanks for sharing it.
Last year my friend kept pestering me to play CS with him, and I finally relented. I hadn’t really put any hours into an FPS since 2012 (Spec Ops: The Line) and into a multiplayer FPS since Counter Strike was still a mod for Half-Life.
In the FIRST match people were trying to kick me off after two rounds for sucking at the game. Played for a few hours, same behaviour from teammates in every match - people whining in the chat and trying to kick me off. These were all unranked matches, and I was there to practice. Didn’t go back to CS.
