I wonder what her stances are on sex education, assistance/welfare programs so the unwanted kids can be clothed and fed, raising the minimum wage so the people can afford to raise the kids, paid childcare so the person can work and healthcare so the kids can be healthy.

Edit: also mental health/therapy coverage to help them deal with having to carry and raise a child they'd have preferred to not.

I'd be genuinely curious to ask these questions to see if their concern for these unborn and unwanted children extend past birth. I'm sure it would be a mixed bag depending on which pro-lifer you asked

A note for all anti abortion people who just say, "give it to the foster system if you dont want it."

If that's your stance, also advocate for a better foster system, cause ours sucks. I suffered so much going through the foster system. And I'm one of the lucky ones who got adopted.

But who cares that someone knows that they're in a family that's not their blood one? Who cares that a whole new set of insults and threats can be levied at you by your "parents"? Who cares that those of us like myself who were rejected by the rest of our extended family have feelings of inadequacy for years/decades after the fact? Who cares that mental disorders are rife in kids in the foster system, and many that I personally have known attempted/ did commit suicide.

If you just argue that giving it up for adoption is a viable choice without saying reform our foster/adoption system, you dont care about the baby, all you care about is misogynistic control. And you are a problem.

Also, the notion that 900,000 extra people will change the world for the better is totally insane.

Denying people the right to terminate unwanted pregnancies when the world is already massively overpopulated and overpolluted makes no sense at all.
