Cedric Bixler-Zavala, the lead singer of The Mars Volta and previously a drummer for former Rep. Beto O’Rourke’s old band, Foss, took aim at the Texas Democrat after he backed former Vice President Joe Biden Joe BidenSanders poised for big Super Tuesday 5 things to watch on Super Tuesday 5 states to watch on Super Tuesday MORE's White House bid earlier this week.
Shortly after O’Rourke, who ended his presidential campaign in November, announced he would be supporting Biden in the primary race, Bixler-Zavala took to Instagram to voice his support for Sanders.
In the post captioned, “No thank you Biden,” Bixler-Zavala also included a photo of Sanders smiling with the words: “Team Bernie all the f---ing way!!”

He also sounded off on his former bandmate’s decision to back Biden in a series of comments on the post that were captured by Vice.
“Beto really bummed me out bad by supporting Biden,” one commenter wrote, to which Bixler-Zavala responded: “Me too.”
When asked by another Instagram user whether he denounces his former bandmate for his endorsement of Biden, Bixler-Zavala wrote, “Denounced in the comatorium,” which is a play on the debut album released by Mars Volta in 2003, “De-Loused in the Comatorium.”
“Maybe you could have a word with Beto,” one Instagram user also suggested in the comments.
“What, you think I can offer something the dnc [Democratic National Committee] hasn’t?” Bixler-Zavala responded.

I'll be voting for whoever opposes Trump this time around, but in all honesty, I feel like there needs to be a new party.
