To be fair, it's better not to have people around you know about it. Especially not how much it was. Because you know, rumours spread, and suddenly almost everyone is either a "friend" or a mugger. Like okay I won 300k, I can pay for quality healthcare for my grandma who's suffering from leukaemia, but if my family knows how much I got basically for free they'll all act like I'm Stalin for not paying off all their cars and mortgages and drug dealers
