So this guy actually went to our school, I'll give you some inside information, so this 'Boy genius' is called Boyan Slatt and he must be hella smart because our school is definitely not one of the best. In our last year we all need to do a research on a project of our choosing, and Boyan choose to research the ocean cleanup for his project. He and his partner started working on the project and when I asked the teachers who had to mentor him, they told me he basically did most of the work while the teachers and his partner just tried to help him where they could. His research was so interesting tho that when he went to certain sponsors and institutions they wanted to make his project reality. He gained global fame and our school gained some as well, they however continued to spend money on shitty administrators and now we are facing bankruptcy... Sending you all love from Grotius Delft
