I gave a baby up for adoption almost 3 years ago to 2 men in California and holy shit are they the gold standard for parenting. She's so healthy and happy and given every opportunity. Their gender/sexual orientation didn't play into my decision, it was their adoption profile and careers that really got me. But seeing 2 first time fathers raise a baby together and get it so right is so emblematic of how long overdo these individuals are to be treated and accepted as worthy and right. I'm so happy with my choice and grateful to live in a time in history when this is possible.
