If America wants Americans to work all its jobs, just start cracking down on employers, that would actually solve the problem. If suddenly hiring undocumented immigrants was actually met with fines and jail time for employers, things would change. Without employment, many immigrants would leave, fewer would come to the US. The fact that this isn't what is happening means its not actually about jobs, its about having some issue to rally the people, a 2 minute hate of sorts. The right doesn't actually want immigrants to leave the US, do you understand how much cheaper their cheap labour makes the cost of living for Americans, kicking them all out would make people upset when they see how much eveything would now cost. America was built on slavery, and when it couldn't do that anymore there was sharecropping, or prison labour. Now its immigrants, just saying.
