Never forget. Cops beats a homeless schizophrenic man by the name of Kelly Thomas to death in 2011. The officers who killed him were acquitted of all charges.
Watch the video, it's horrifying. I was heartbroken for this man, especially when he was crying out for his dad. These cops are pieces of garbage. Worst of all, the club across the street had fabricated some story to get them to remove him from the area. There are some truly awful humans on this planet.
Audio recordings and surveillance video taken during the incident show 37-year-old Kelly Thomas calling for his father nearly 30 times. As the minutes tick by, Thomas’ desperate screams for his father trail off into groans of “Daddy” and then stop altogether as he loses consciousness.
I watched this and it's just as horrifying. These officers are an absolute disgrace and lack basic humanity. I don't understand why so many had to beat him so badly, why not restrain him?
