As someone who worked in an airport and went through security every day, you can do this. I had coworkers who would freeze soup for lunch lol

I brought a frozen water bottle through TSA once. They pulled it out to check that it was actually frozen and as the agent was looking at it he looks at me and goes "just checking, because, you know, if it's frozen, it can't go BOOM! Ha!"
Uhhhhhh..... It was an awkward encounter.
