The implication here: that if something is in the Bible, it can’t be racist. Something about that just seems a bit off. I’m no expert, but I’m willing to bet that in the Venn diagram of “things that are racist” and “things that are in the Bible”, you’ll find some things to put in the center portion.
Moses was married to a Cushite (Ethiopian) woman (Numbers 12:1-16), and God was angry with Aaron and Miriam for criticizing that marriage.
Also, The Hebrews were forbidden to marry Canaanites and other pagan peoples. The reason was because these people worshipped idols, not because of race.
