Ah yes, the skull of Mary Magdelene. Her remains were purportedly found c. 1058 by the Vézelay abbey, which is quite convenient for them as their abbey was along a popular pilgrimage route to the shrine of Santiago de Compestela and they wanted the foot traffic.
