How awkward would it be if a couple met and showed each other a pic like this like six months into the relationship

I work construction, so don't often go into the actual shop or wearhouse because I'm at job sites. After about a year working there I go in to see a remodel they recently did in the show room and I see a very old photo with my great great grandpa and great great grandma. I ask the owner why he had that photo, turns out we were related through marriage at one point and had no idea, my mother had the same photo hanging on her wall growing up, was super weird but cool.

Recently discovered that the girl I sit next to at work is my fifth cousin 1x removed. She has an unusual last name that jumped out at me since I've been researching my family tree for years. Our shared ancestor came from Virginia but we live in the Midwest.
