Just to clarify... Those are hemangiomas, but when a baby has that many, there is almost always an underlying cause. They've also been associated with heart defects. Really big ones can obstruct airways, too.
So, while isolated they're USUALLY harmless, but there's clearly more going on here (which we know from the feeding tube) but it may or may not have to do with the hemangiomas.
