He went on this manchild rant why the Joker should have won, then admits he's never seen nor cares about the Parasite. Pretty much invalidated his argument right then and there.

I watched his rant, unfortunately, and his argument was based around his opinion that Joker had themes that are more relevant to today's woes (disenfranchised lower class, I think is what he meant?) and because of that should have won the category.

He then goes on to admit he never saw Parasite and doesn't think anyone else did, either. The academy only gave it to Parasite because it was foreign.

SShhhh - no one tell him that the director has made several internationally acclaimed movies (one with Chris fucking Evans) and that the themes of Parasite include socio-economic disparity....

The best part of the video is he says "American movies like 1917 only had ome chance to win and aprasite had two!"

First off, 1917 was a UK film and it won 3 Oscars.
